Giovanni's Ristorante, Cleveland

Giovanni's Ristorante is a top-class Italian restaurant located in Beachwood. It has won a AAA 4-diamond award, one of just a handful of restaurants in Cleveland to do so. After its 2001 renovation, the décor is warm and speckled with prints of famous Picasso paintings. The menu aims for authenticity, right down to the lengthy Italian dish names (though they're followed by English descriptions). Entrées include Costoletta di Vitello “Osso Lungo,” a charred long bone veal chop, or Scottato di Oppoglosso Impanato, a potato-crusted halibut. Vegetarians have salad and pasta choices, such as Linguine al Pesto Genovese or Capellini D'Angelo Aluarrabbiata, an angel hair garlic pasta dish.
