Teahouse Noodles, Cleveland

Teahouse Noodles, located in University Circle as well as downtown Cleveland, disproves the idea that fast food must be unhealthy with its simple, cheap Asian fare. The menu is simple: the customer picks a rice or noodle bowl, a sauce, and an optional protein topping. The base bowls include noodles, brown rice, veggies, and pad thai, with the latter two costing slightly more. The sauces feature Miso Broth, Chicken Broth, Teriyaki, Thai Peanut, and more. The protein additions are chicken, tofu, or a four-bean medley. Teahouse Noodles also offers smoothies with a variety of fruits and boosters. - Marjorie Jensen
