  The attatched restaraunt is lovely but that is about the only good thing I can say. Under my bed when I arrived was an big empty liquor bottle and the bathroom walls and inside door were (and probably will remain) filthy with yellow streaks of how-many-peoples-sweat I don't know. There was no privacy door hanger when I arrived, and the housekeeping manager (possibly a co-owner or relative) berated me for not having one on the door. When I told her I did not have one she still said I needed to put one on. I had gotten a room for two weeks and when I was searching initially for a place to stay Ambassador Inn seemed like the perfect deal, since it was one of the cheaper ones and on it's lovely sign said "free breaksfast", so I was sold. I got breakfast once, and then was too busy to come down in the morning. Now, this morning, I go to get breakfast and I'm told I have to have a special card. Well I don't have a "special" card, and the person who first took my reservation told me that with weeklies you get continental breakfast. So I go to the front desk and the "man" tells me with his high and mighty authority, "How can you get free breakfast at $34 dollars a night?" Well, first off, my rate is $54 dollars a night so right there he's a LIAR and I was told weeklies get breakfast. All in all, the housekeeping people themselves are nice, but all management and that wonderful "man" at the front desk are about some of the lowest people I have encountered in a long, long while. So, if you are willing to throw money at this Inn, please don't expect anything from them lest they put you in your place, which in their opinion is much lower than where they are....   Read More
