Bodean Seafood Restaurant, Tulsa

Don't be alarmed by the strip mall location of Bodean, now in a former Blockbuster Video space. Like a hermit crab, the popular seafood restaurant picked up a new shell just a few years ago. And, once you step inside, you'll discover an elegant atmosphere that's sleek, masculine and vaguely nautical, perfect for your ship's bounty of dinner choices from under the sea. Start with bisques and chowders, move on to crab cakes or oysters four ways, and finish with cioppino or hazelnut-crusted Alaskan halibut. (There is a steak on the menu, but it seems out of place, like a cat that wandered into a dog party.) If you're a fan of seafood, this is the perfect place to indulge.
