Cain's Ballroom, Tulsa

Cain's isn't just a place to go in Tulsa, it's THE place to go in Tulsa—at least where live music is concerned. An unknown musician named Bob Wills got his start here in 1935, and continued to rock the house on a regular basis for the next seven years while earning the title "The King of Western Swing." Cain's was also one of the few U.S. venues where the Sex Pistols ever played, and you can still see the hole punched in the wall by Sid Vicious—it's been framed for posterity. That's quite a history. Cain's is still a top choice of touring bands and music lovers who love the authentic dance-hall ambiance, great acoustics, cheap drinks and original wood dance floor.
