Boiler Room, Portland

Portland's Chinatown is known as a spot for after work drinks and young club goers, and the Boiler Room differs only by having a dedicated mission of all karaoke, all the time. The drinks are quite stiff and cocktails are a very reasonable $3 before 9pm. The atmosphere is non-smoking and few customers are good enough singers to be intimidating. Thursdays are notable for free billiards all night long on two regulation tables. Standard bar fare is served until closing. Tips and regular attendance increase the frequency of your performances. Parking is difficult, so public transit is highly recommended.
