    Walking into the Dixie Tavern is like watching a scene from Coyote Ugly; inebriated girls shaking a leg on the bar, and a generally loud, raucous atmosphere. What started out as a cowboy/girl theme has petered out, and apart from the bartenders dressed like cowgirls, you won't really find any remnants of that theme. There's always something going on here, whether karaoke or DJ, game or ladies' nights. If all the dancing and screaming leaves you tired, you can always grab a pulled pork sandwich to go with your canned beer.
