Overview
Almost 6,000 Oregonians fought during the Vietnam War and many lost their lives. This graceful black granite structure, inscribed with the names of 800 dead and missing soldiers, serves as a somber reminder of their sacrifice. Through volunteer work and donations, Oregon's living veterans helped to establish this monument and recently raised even more funds to fix the drainage problems that prevented wheelchair access. It is well-worth your time to visit this powerful memorial.
