The Art Sanctuary is housed inside a listed heritage building that was visualized by Charles Burns who infused Ecclesiological and European cathedral-style elements into the design. Gorgeous murals painted by local artists in the 1970's adorn the walls of this sanctuary that has dedicated itself to promoting visual and performing arts in Philadelphia. Music festivals, educational programs, recitals, drama and exhibitions comprise the choc-a-bloc calendar of this stylish venue so call ahead for more details on those.
