Drinker's Tavern, Philadelphia

Drinker's is a Philly college student favorite that operates much like a college party – cheap alcohol and a rowdy crowd. With features such as Pabst Blue Ribbon “ripcords” (also know as “shotguns” to locals; basically they cut a hole in the can so you have to drink it in one shot) and Soco and lime shots, they draw residents with small budgets but high energy. The bartenders are quick and accommodating, serving up free shots on occasion and a bit of sarcastic humor regularly. Make sure to ask about their “$30 buys the bar a shot” motto if you want to be the favorite patron of the night.
