When you stay at the Loews, you’re staying in a piece of history—the art deco-style hotel is housed in the former PSFS building, recognized as the world’s first modern skyscraper. Inside, the black marble lobby is dotted with Cartier clocks, and the minimal elegance continues upstairs, where substantial contemporary furniture decorates the rooms. Ask for a higher floor to get a bird's eye view of the city, or splurge on one of their specialty suites for stunning views of the Philadelphia skyline.
