Rose Tattoo Cafe is a 20 year old charming and vivacious bistro serving contemporary American cuisine with a continental twist to it. The ambience is informal and romantic with flowering plants all over giving it a mystical aura, the woody bar and its cool antique Tiffany glass doors which are used as dividers. Nested in a 100 year old Victorian building, Rose is very much part of the modern world with its delightful contemporary cuisine. The diverse menu keeps pace with the seasons and some of the specialties are the Rib appetizer, lobster quesadillas, shrimp dumplings in ginger-miso broth, crispy calamari, cream of mushroom soup, squash agnolotti, sesame-soy-marinated tuna, horseradish-crusted salmon, jambalaya, banana-caramel cream pie, macadamia nut brownie, Mushroom Ravioli, Striped Bass and Diver Sea Scallops. The full bar has a reasonable and nice selection of wine and beer. Rose Tattoo Cafe has been a local favorite not only for its luscious ambience but also for its consistently wonderful food. Though it is a lovely place for private events, it is idyllic for a beautiful romantic date.
