Overview
The Kuntu Repertory Theatre was founded in 1974 to showcase works by African-American writers. After 30 years the theatre has expanded to provide African-American artists a chance to develop and participate in their social and educational growth. The company performs at various facilities and schools throughout the Pittsburgh area. They specialize in historical dramas, to integrate a rich ethnic heritage with their theater arts training.
