Overview
The synagogue, Rodef Shalom, is one of two synagogues that Henry Hornbostel designed. Located in the Shadyside neighborhood, the interior of this beautiful building is illuminated by a skylight and stained glass windows. Visitors will also immediately notice the blue and gold chandeliers, which float above the rich mahogany and gilt used throughout the interior. Rodef Shalom features a Biblical Botanical Garden, which encompasses the natural world of ancient Israel and is a feature not-to-be-missed.
