Pine Lakes Country Club is Myrtle Beach's first golf course and was created in 1927. The original clubhouse was designed by Henry Bacon McKoy who also created the Lincoln Memorial. The golf course has been restored in a $15 million project which has preserved the historic beauty. The course has Southern architecture and the golf course has a Scottish theme. The 18 hole golf course provides both difficult and easy shots. Pine Lakes Country Club also hosts events.
