As part of the Tupelo Bay golf complex, the mini-golf course is also known as Runaway Bay Mini Golf, which has two 36-hole miniature courses. One is Cockpit Country and the other is Dunns River Falls. Both are set in a tropical-themed park with numerous waterfalls, a lagoon with seaplane in the middle, tunnels, rivers and bridges. The courses take players around the lagoon and through caves. On a warm day, there are shaded areas to rest. In addition to the mini golf, the complex offers an arcade for kids, a snack shack and ice cream at Painters Homemade Ice Cream. The Cockpit Country course with 18 holes was designed for disabled access. There is free parking on site. Discount coupons can be found in the Myrtle Beach Coupon Book at visitor centers or online.
