Overview
Ballet Memphis has a growing reputation for excellence, demonstrated by its list of national and international awards for choreography, design and dancing. Four performances per year grace the Orpheum Theater, the restored jewel box on the trolley line downtown. In addition, the ballet company tours the area each year. The highlight of the season for many Memphians is the production of The Nutcracker ballet each year at Christmas.The season runs from Oct-Apr; show times vary.
