Escape Alley Sundry, Memphis

The interestingly named ‘Escape Alley Sundry’ is christened after the General Washburn’s Escape Alley behind the restaurant, which is named so to commemorate the Second Battle of Memphis. Keeping close to the local flavor, the eatery has a very southern feel, accentuated by the hospitality and the items on the menu. The decor of the Escape Alley is also unique, with several paintings hanging on the walls and some bric-a-brac strewn across the place, and, what’s more, they are all for sale!
