The Vanderbilt Stadium of the Commodores seats up to 39,790 sports fans, and was built in 1922. It is located in the heart of the campus, and also has an enviable 17,000 square foot press box, with four levels and two elevators. Fans and athletes alike reap the benefits of the multi-billion dollars construction project in 1981, which made Vanderbilt one of the most up-to-date and modern playing fields.
