34th Street Cafe tucked away just west of Lamar Boulevard, is a pleasant destination for a gourmet lunch. The restaurant is usually crowded with Hyde Park and Rosedale area professionals and residents. The interior is comfortable and intimate, with a number of tables scattered about its two open rooms. The decor is very simple, and the area is bright and inviting. It is quite popular with the lunch crowd, providing a relaxing escape from work.
