Counter Cafe is the place to go for burgers when in Austin. Although their burgers are the draw, they have plenty of unique items you'll be tempted to try. Whether it's the Grilled Bandera Quail with the game bird on a bed of spinach salad tossed with strawberries, goat cheese or red onion or their Polenta Fried Oysters featuring their breaded oysters with a sun-dried tomato dipping sauce, this place is worth a repeat visit to try it all. A great feature about this place is that their breakfast items are served all day and with items like their hearty Steak and Eggs, you'll be glad they do.
