Iguana Grill, Austin

Located just outside the city in the hill country, Iguana Grill offers customers great lakeside views while they have a few drinks and enjoy cuisine from the interior of Mexico. Dishes are moderately priced, and the menu is weighted towards seafood. For instance, the Cerviche Al Estilo Yucateca which is yellow tuna marinated in lime juice with pico de gallo and the Rainbow Trout Vera Cruz consists of grilled trout topped with spicy tomatoes, olives and onions. As an alternative, the Carnitas a la Parrilla is marinated and grilled beef steak or chicken tenderloins with a smoked chipotle sauce. Any attire from casual to dressy is fine and a generally laid-back attitude prevails.
