Vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike enjoy Veggie Heaven's fully vegetarian menu and quick service. With its no-frills atmosphere, the obvious draws are the freshness of the ingredients and the gigantic portion sizes, enough to take home for another meal. The Taiwanese-style offerings include a ton of variations on fried tofu with veggies, like the Eggplant Tofu—a mountain of fried Asian eggplant and tofu swimming in a spicy sauce—as well as wraps and noodle bowls. Veggie Heaven’s small dining room gets crowded during lunchtime. To avoid a wait, call ahead for takeout service, and your food is usually ready in five minutes.
