Mattito's, Dallas

Mattito's is a perfectly located restaurant that is vibrant, has a great patio and serves fantastic food. If you've never been here, you can fit right in by ordering the “Bob Armstrong Dip”—it's not on the menu and never has been, but is truly decadent and a meal in itself. A lighter option, the De Marisco Salad, is filled with spicy sautéed shrimp and scallops. After, segue into their famous “Platillos” or a Platillo a la Parrilla which is grilled tenderloin medallion with seared jumbo shrimp. Desserts do not disappoint with the Mexican Chocolate Cake sprinkled with cinnamon and vanilla bean ice cream or the Tes Leches of white cake with caramel and cream cheese icing.
