One of Dallas' original sushi bars, Sushi on McKinney has been in business since the mid-'80s. The sushi bar offers well-lit seating that allows you to watch the sushi chef perform culinary magic. Other dining is more traditional. A cheery, entertaining, Japanese slide show serves as art. The service is fast and efficient. Fresh is the key to good sushi and this is as fresh as it gets. A favored entree is Mama San's Shrimp with scallops, asparagus and mushrooms, sautéed in an herbed lemon butter. Bouillabaisse Nippon is this restaurant's version of the admiral's platter, a combination of seafood served on a bed of udon noodles.
