Grape Escape (The), Ft. Worth

Wine bars are rare in Texas, and this one is among the country's best, so visitors to Sundance Square are in for a real treat. Owner Michael Baudouin came up with the idea for this place after living in Paris. More than 80 different vintages are available at Grape Escape, and the inventory changes regularly. Servings are available by the bottle, glass and half glass. Those who wish to increase their wine expertise may order a sampler plate of three, four or five one-ounce servings. Those who want food with their wine can choose from such light fare as cheese, carpaccio and small pizzas.
