Overview
Italian architect, Renzo Piano, was commissioned to design this building solely for the purpose of housing the Cy Twombly Gallery. Twombly made his mark on the New York art scene in the 1950s and is a favorite of Houston art expert, Dominique de Menil of the esteemed Menil Collection. Thirty-five major paintings adorn the walls, and assorted sculptures and works on paper are available for your viewing.
