The suburbs in general are not exactly known for their exquisite food originality. But Sierra Madre Taco Company is trying to change that one taco at a time. When you find yourself up north in Houston, stop by the back corner of this beautiful strip center at Louetta and N Eldridge Pkwy for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Get an assortment of fresh hot tacos for less than a couple bucks each. Whether you prefer fajita meat, or the always lovely Al Pastor, put on your own fixins' (like chopped onions or salsa) as you wish from their taco toppings bar. Even stop in as a reward for fighting that North Houston traffic. -Adam Rosen
