The menu at this popular chain restaurant includes some of the best local and international seafood dishes and wines to go with it. There are also several steaks and large cuts of beefs to choose from. If you are not in a mood for a meal, do not worry. Grab a stool at Bar 601, order a drink and soak in the charming view of downtown San Antonio.

My wife and I had an unbeleiveable expeirence at the Chart House Restaurant in the Tower of the Americas. The hospitality of the staff was remarkable! Our experience started at the ticket booth the attendant was friendly, had a smile the entire time, was very out going and helpful! The staff just walking from our car to the hostess at the entrance of the tower were very nice, I cannot count the number of times we were greeted with "Hi welcome to the Tower of the Americas, is there anything I maybe of assistance to you?" The hostess opened the doors for us at the entrance, greeted and escorted us to the elevator. The elevator attendant was also outgoing and knowledgable about the tower. Once we reached the top we were greeted by the hostess and a waiter that knew our name and escorted us to our table. Along the way to our table the waitstaff did nothing but greet us. Once we reached our table our chairs were pulled out for us. Our waiter was amazing smiles the entire time, informed us in detail about the Chef's Feature, talked us into the chocolate lava cake that was unbelievable! He also, suggested wine that paired beautifully with our entrees. At the end he thanked us for coming and even escorted us to the elevator. The food was amazing it was hot when served and the timing was perfect! Not to mention the amazing view as we dinned. After we ate we took an extra view at the observation deck that was also very neat, because you were able to walk outside and feel the air. Then we finished with the 4-D movie that was definately an expeirence in itself. I tell ya I have never seen a movie where the chairs moved so you could feel and smell the action. Any staff that we saw on our way out thanked us for visiting. The ticket booth guy even waved to us by as we left. I will definately be visiting the Tower of the Americas the next time I visit San Antonio Texas. I suggest that everyone should experience the Tower of the Americas at least once in their life.
