This is a no-frills, budget hotel that is worth its weight in gold simply for the location. You’re within walking distance (less than half a mile in most cases) to the Alamo, the Rivercenter Mall, the River Walk, and numerous other downtown attractions. There is free parking, free Wi-Fi, free continental breakfast and an outdoor pool. The hotel is nothing fancy but for the price and location, it generally receives good reviews and is a great place to crash considering you’re unlikely to spend much time in the room anyway.
