Justin AhlmannYou won’t find run-of-the-mill tacos and chips on the menu at this famed Southwestern eatery. The inspired menu features innovative selections with a French-American spin like peppercorn-crusted London broil of elk, goat cheese chiles rellenos and green pipian-seared trout fajitas. Pair your selections with a margarita or two, and you’ve got a memorable meal that will be a vacation highlight. However, save room for the Mexican chocolate fondue for dessert. It’s so good that once the churros, fresh fruit and cookies run out for dipping, you’ll start seriously considering submerging your fingers in the rich, warm chocolate. When making a reservation, ask to be seated on the restaurant’s main floor; there is a dining room downstairs, too, but the main floor offers a more beautiful and buzz-worthy atmosphere.
