I have been meaning to write this review for a few weeks now. The past couple of visits I have made to this place over the past month have been horrible. I will have to say that I haven't been here since Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban released and I will never come back. The place is far from what I remember it being. The outside could use some touchup as the paint is faded. The Sidewalks are cracked and don't even get me started on the condition of the parking lot. At this point I was like it doesn't matter and you don't judge a book by its cover. This place is an exception to the rule this time. I proceeded to get my ticket from the ticket booth outside. There person that was working the booth at the time was not too friendly. After walking inside it was a not busy for a weekend. The carpet in the place is horrible and could use some care if you know what I mean. The owner of this place really should consider some updating as this place is stuck in the 80's. Also might think about investing in some digital boards inside and better lighting instead of dull dingy and hand written stuff. I decided to get a Drink and popcorn and I might as well give them my first born child for the prices and no free refills. WTF! The popcorn tasted horrible and it was cold. The drink was watered down. Complaining to management does not good as the girl didn't know what was going on. Few bricks shy of a load. I believe she is the Assistant Manager as the head manager was not there at the time as I was told and to think someone like this is left in charge scares me. Didn't ever get a complimentary popcorn for mine being cold. The walk back to what is supposed to the” New” addition looks like a dump and the bathrooms didn't look like they have been cleaned in months. The inside of the theater floors were sticky and lights were out on the stairs. (Safety Hazard. The chair I was sitting in the chair arm was missing and I notice a couple other sits missing them as well. Trash was still in the seating area. I would like to point out the fact the owner comes in there on big releases to give a speech about the theater any talk about the not so great sound system. Oooo it's the best because it George Lucas, whatever. Tinsletown's Sound System in Bristol VA sounds better than the Cinemall's. The staff at Tinsletown is a lot Friendlier and management actually cares if you come back. The last thing I would like to point out is if they tell you the projector is broken and you are the only one going to see the movie then 99% of the time it's a lie as they just don't want to start the movie for 1 person...
