This recently renovated 121-room boutique luxury hotel enjoys one of the best locations in the city, near the Pike Place Market. Sophisticated and artsy, the Alexis displays original art throughout, in guest rooms and public spaces alike. Rooms are generously sized, with taupe and cinnamon accenting cream walls. While the art-viewing is free, Internet access is not, unless you’re a Kimpton loyalty program member. Outside noise can be an issue, so for a good night’s sleep book an off-street or upper-floor room.
