Verve Wine Bar & Cellar, Seattle

Tucked in the back of a building, Verve isn't easy to find but it is worth the effort. Mesh draped bamboo chandeliers echo bamboo floors, dark brown napkins and cushions highlight maple tables and chairs, while neutral earth-toned walls host revolving art exhibits. A curved banquette separates the dining area from the dark wood bar. Laura Chenel goat cheese fondue, sweet and savory crepes, and a selection of cured meats and cheeses complement the mostly international by-the-glass wine selections.
